Configurable Switch DGS-1100-10 / ME is equipped with 8-port 10/100 / 1000Base-T and 2 combo ports and is designed for network deployment Metro Ethernet. DGS-1100-10 / ME is made in a durable and safe housing and supports Multicast for IPTV-applications. Ethernet-ports are equipped with built-in protection against static electricity to 6 kV. Optical SFP ports provides an opportunity to build a network FTTx.
DGS-1100-10 / ME provides an opportunity to work with IPTV-service, or any other, based on the transmission of multicast traffic, enjoys a growing demand in the market, thanks to the support functions such as IGMP Snooping, Limited IP Multicast (Restriction of multicast on IP-addresses) , ISM VLAN and MLD Snooping. Using these functions, enables optimum bandwidth while preserving a high quality of data transmission. Limited IP Multicast function allows you to create profiles multicast and link them to ports or port ranges to allow or deny requests to connect to a particular group (channel) that are sent to users. Using profiles simplifies the management of IPTV service in case the user changes the package. When using the ISM VLAN (IGMP Snooping Multicast VLAN) multicast traffic for the purpose of efficient spending bandwidth transmitted in a separate VLAN. When using the ISM VLAN (IGMP Snooping Multicast VLAN) configuration is necessary on the access switch, and the L3 switch level of aggregation. Bandwidth savings achieved in the case of viewing the same channel in different customer VLAN, it does not require a separate copy of the multicast traffic for each of them in the case of using the ISM VLAN. MLD Snooping function improves the efficiency of multicast and can reduce costs during the transition to IPv6.
DGS-1100-10 / ME also supports security features. Through the use of Static MAC mechanism can allow access only to authorized devices. Port Security allows you to limit the number of MAC-addresses, studied at the port, and prevent flood-attacks against overflow switching table.
High performance and fault tolerance
Switch DGS-1100-10 / ME supports a wide range of functions to ensure smooth operation and simplifies management. Support Loopback Detection prevents the formation of loops in the network. DGS-1100-10 / ME also supports QoS (Quality of Service).Packets may be classified based on the contents and distribute a different priority queue processing. Prioritization mechanism helps to differentiate traffic based on quality of service requirements. With Bandwidth Control allows network administrators to define bandwidth for each port in increments of 16 kbit / s for incoming and outgoing traffic. The switches also support the functional protection from the storm (Storm Control), which allows you to get rid of unnecessary traffic.
DGS-1100-10 / ME supports 802.1x authentication on the port-based / node, and authentication based on the local database or RADIUS-server. Administrators can also put unauthorized users in Guest VLAN and assign them limited access rights.
Configuring the Switch can be performed via Telnet, SNMP and HTTP. Convenient Web-based interface for easy management.Protocol LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol) enables a network equipment on the LAN to notify its existence and characteristics, so in accordance with the result of the search can be easily applied to the detected device configuration and topology of a graphical image.
Switch DGS-1100-10 / ME allows administrators to perform a quick diagnosis, and troubleshooting. The diagnostic function allows you to determine the length of cable connected and display information about its status. Support for this function provides a convenient troubleshooting. In addition, DGS-1100-10 / ME supports IEEE802.3ah, link layer protocol, allows administrators to monitor the status of the network and rapid fault detection on the switch ports.

Where do we deliver?
We currently deliver all over Kenya, for deliveries out of Kenya, please contact our customer service.
Door to door deliveries are available for some areas. For other areas, delivery will be to the nearest courier office at your selected location.
We shall deliver to the location you selected on the delivery address part on account registration. Ensure you have selected the most accurate neighborhood description.
The delivery time starts from the day you place your order and payment confirmed to the day one of our delivery associates makes a first attempt to deliver to you or notify you on your package arrival at the courier offices.
- We shall deliver all stock items on “the next business day” after your order.
- Business days are from Monday to Saturday, and do not include Sundays or public holidays.
- Orders can be made anytime of the day and on any day.
- Customer care is available on phone call from 8.00am to 5.00pm on all business days.
- For contacts out of working hours, we shall be available on Email, SMS or Whatsapp
Delivery timelines are calculated and the estimates shipping timeline is communicated to you through Email, WhatsApp or SMS. This may include tracking numbers from our logistics partners.
In the case delivery is to your nearest courier, or logistics partner, a notification will be sent for pick-up when your items are ready for pick up.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery cost for Kenya is;
- 400 for all orders below Ksh. 10,000.00 within Nairobi
- Free for all orders above Ksh. 10,000 within Nairobi
- 500 for all orders below Ksh. 50,000 outside of Nairobi
- Free for all orders above Ksh. 50,000 countrywide

Packaging multiple orders?Multiple orders can be combined into the same package to reduce cost and number of packages shipped to a customer.
How to track your orders status
Orders status can be tracked using the order numbers provided once a purchase is completed. A link is provided where the buyer can view the progression of the order from the moment the order is placed, processed, dispatched, and shipped to deliver. Any issues can also be viewed. See below box for quick reference and definition of the key order status terminologies.

|Item is cancelled||Out of stock- The customer placed an order but was cancelled because the Dropship vendor couldn’t fulfil the item as it was out of Stock. Talinda Xpress Customer Support will advise the Buyers accordingly.|
